Lenovo introduces updates to the IdeaPad lineup

Lenovo continues to polish its consumer and educational lineup in 2023.  This year an update to the IdeaPad Duet 3i and the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook highlight the new offerings thus far.  Both devices are meant for the on-the-go consumer looking to tackle everyday computing tasks.

The IdeaPad Duet 3i comes running the new Intel N series Processor, a new display, and is powered by a Windows 11 experience.  This year the main feature is the slightly larger 11.5-inch display.  This 2K touchscreen features a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut with a peak brightness of 400 nits.  The latest Intel N-series Procesor is flanked with Wi-Fi 6 support and an advertised 8.5 hours of battery life.  Rapid Charge Boost allows two additional hours of usage from just a 15-minute charge.  The IdeaPad Duet 3i measures just 8.5mm and switches between tablet and laptop and tablet via its included detachable keyboard.

The IdeaPad Duet 31 is not expected to be available in North Amera at launch but will be available in EMEA in June for 449€ (VAT inc.).

If you’re in today’s nomadic lifestyle then the 2023 IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook might be an option for you.  It’s a value-priced pick-up-and-go 14-inch Chromebook.  Under the hood is the new powerful yet efficient MediaTek Kompanio 500 series processor that helps this Chromebook reach an advertised 13.5 hours of battery life.  The package is topped off with a full-service USB C  port, a 1080P webcam, and a 100 percent sRGB screen. Coming in at 2.9 lb, it’s backpack ready.   The Lenovo Slim 3 Chromebook is available in May for $340.
